
Gloucester Folk Museum
A truly spectacular array of artefacts can be found behind the walls of
the attractive timber-framed Tudor and Jacobean buildings (one of which
being traditionally associated with the final night of the protestant
martyr, Bishop Hooper) that make up the Gloucester Folk Museum.
A multitude of crafts, trades and industries, from the middle ages
right up to the present day, are represented in the extensive
galleries, found in a complex of rooms on different levels which
creates a unique ambience ensuring an enduring popularity for locals
and visitors.
